This is my first Blog Action Day post ever. This year’s theme is POVERTY. The world was able to see what poverty looks like in America 3 years ago as the citizens of New Orleans suffered on CNN during one of the most devastating disasters to touch our country in recent history. It displayed the poverty which continues to grip a significant portion of the New Orleans population.
